I am a cooking enthusiast. But I have never wanted to make pizza from scratch. It is always my daughter Sachi who is willing to work without sparing herself to let us enjoy the homemade pizza! I just keep her dough recipe on this website for my own reference.
2 to 3 Large Pizza
Bread Flour 500g (*about 3 cups)
Warm Water 325ml
Dried Yeast 7g
Caster Sugar a pinch
Salt 1 teaspoon
Olive Oil 1 tablespoon *optional
- Combine the Dried Yeast, Sugar and Warm water in a small bowl. Stand for 10 minutes or until mixture is frothy.
- Combine Bred Flour and Salt in a large bowl. Add the yeast mixture and Olive Oil. Mix until a dough comes together.
- Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead, adding more flour if necessary, until smooth and elastic. Place dough in a large, oiled bowl. Cover and set aside in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
