I am a cooking enthusiast, but I am not very keen on making pizza from scratch. It is always my daughter Sachi who is willing to work without sparing herself to let us enjoy homemade pizza! I just keep her dough recipe on this website for my own reference.
2 to 3 Large Pizza
325ml Warm Water
1 sachet (7g) Dry Yeast
1 pinch Caster Sugar
500g Bread Flour *about 3 cups
1 teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- Combine the Dry Yeast, Sugar and Warm Water in a small bowl. Stand for 10 minutes or until mixture is frothy.
- Combine Bred Flour and Salt in a large bowl. Add the yeast mixture and Olive Oil. Mix until a dough comes together.
- Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead, adding more flour if necessary, until smooth and elastic. Place dough in a large oiled bowl. Cover and set aside in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
