Left-over Wonton Skins can be transformed into various yummy things. I once introduced my ‘Wonton Skin Apple Rolls’ recipe. Here is another one. This ‘Wonton Skin Spinach & Fetta Triangles’ is inspired by Gozleme, a Turkish pastry snack which I love.
Wonton Skins 10
Frozen Spinach 2 pieces *OR Fresh Spinach, washed and chopped, as required
Fetta Cheese and/or Ricotta as required
Salt & Pepper
- Defrost Frozen Spinach pieces and remove excess liquid. If you use Fresh Spinach, cook slightly and remove excess liquid.
- Combine Spinach and Fetta and/or Ricotta Cheese, season with Salt & Pepper as required.
- Place a heaped teaspoonful of mixture on a Wonton Skin and spread flat. Moisten the edges of the skin to secure close and make into a triangle.
- Heat some Oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until golden and crisp.
