
When you have some leftover Cooked Rice, a fried rice is a dish that you can cook with it. If you are a beginner cook, you should learn how to cook it. Here is a very basic recipe. If you don’t Spring Onion, you can use some Brown Onion. Ham can be replaced with Bacon, but you need to season carefully if you use very salty ingredients.

Ingredients
1 Egg *lightly whisked
60 to 80g Ham *cut into small pieces
1 Spring Onion *chopped
3cm Carrot *optional, cut into thin small pieces
1/2 tablespoon Oil *plus extra if needed
1 serving warm Cooked Rice *about 200g
1/4 teaspoon Asian Chicken Bouillon Powder
1/2 teaspoon Soy Sauce
Salt *I added 1/6 teaspoon
White Pepper as required
Method
- Whisk Egg in a small bowl. Cut Ham and vegetables. Microwave cooked Rice and warm if cold. Prepare everything before you start cooking.
- Heat Oil in a frying pan over medium hight heat, cook Carrot (if you add it) and Ham for a minutes, then add Spring Onion, and stir.
- Make a room in the frying pan, add a small amount of Oil to the room if needed, pour the Egg into the room, and cook the Egg. When cooked, stir to combine.
- Add warm Cooked Rice, mix well, then add Asian Chicken Bouillon Powder, Soy Sauce, Salt and Pepper, and mix well.
