Today I made ‘Lentil Curd’. For some reason, Lentils are connected with ‘Spain’ in my head. When I think about Spanish food, the first thing I think of is Garlic, and Paprika. So, I fried the Lentil Curd and seasoned with spicy Paprika seasoning mix. This is almost 100% Lentils. It’s very nutritious and actually yummy.

2 to 3 Servings

Ingredients

500g Lentil Curd

2 to 3 tablespoons Oil

Seasoning Mix
1/2 teaspoon Fine Salt *alter the amount to suit your taste
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
1/2 teaspoon Ground Paprika
1/4 teaspoon Ground Chilli *add more if you like

Method
  1. Combine all the Seasoning Mix in a small bowl.
  2. Cut Lentil Curd into bite-size cubes.
  3. Heat a generous amount of Oil in a frying pan, non-stick preferred, over medium high heat and cook Lentil Curd until nicely browned.
  4. Sprinkle with the Seasoning Mix evenly, and toss and stir for a few minutes until nicely coated.
