This is my favourite way to enjoy Chia Seeds. To achieve the consistency of the pudding that I like, I mix 2 & 1/2 tablespoons Chia Seeds with 1/2 cup Milk and 1 teaspoon Maple Syrup. And I always add some Frozen Blueberries, because I always have them. You may wish to add fresh Blueberries OR Strawberries.

Makes

1 Serving

Ingredients

2 & 1/2 tablespoons Black Chia Seeds *1 tablespoon is 15ml
*Note: The amount depends on your preference for the consistency. I believe 2 tablespoons (30ml) makes the pudding too soft.
1/2 cup (125ml) Milk of your choice
1 teaspoon Maple Syrup *OR your favourite sweetener as required
Frozen Blueberries *OR Fresh Blueberries, Strawberries, etc.
*Note: You may wish to add a few drops Vanilla Extract

Method
  1. Mix Chia Seeds, Milk and Maple Syrup in a serving glass. Set aside for 5 minutes, occasionally stirring, so that Chia Seeds won’t sink to the bottom.
  2. Add some Frozen Blueberries and leave it in the fridge for 2 hours OR longer, stirring occasionally. *Note: If you use fresh Blueberries, add them just before you eat the pudding to enjoy the freshness.
  3. Add some extra Blueberries on top, and enjoy.
