MIso_Soup_Tofu_Spinach

Tofu doesn’t need to be cooked. Using ready-to-serve Baby Spinach, this ‘Tofu & Spinach Miso Soup’ can be prepared in just 5 minutes. It’s easy, quick, nutritious and delicious.

Ingredients

4 cups Dashi Stock *See ‘Dashi Stock’ page
3 to 4 tablespoons Miso
1 block Tofu *Momen of Silken Tofu
Ready-to-Serve Baby Spinach as required
2 Spring Onion *finely chopped

Method
  1. Cut Tofu into small cubes, cut Spring Onion finely.
  2. Heat Dashi Stock (OR Water and Dashi Powder) in a saucepan or a pot, and bring to the boil.
    *Note: Use about 2 teaspoons Dashi Powder for 4 cups Water OR according to the instruction on the package.
  3. Season with Miso. Then add Tofu and Spinach, and remove the soup from the heat when it just starts to boil.
  4. Sprinkle with finely chopped Spring Onions and serve.
