‘Creamy Tomato Prawn Pasta’ is popular. If you are looking for a simple recipe for single serving, try this easy recipe that can be cooked with common ingredients only. If you are cooking for more servings, you can simply multiply this recipe. I use Linguine OR Fettuccine, but you can use your favourite long Pasta. Ingredients

1 serving Long Pasta of your choice *Linguine OR Fettuccine recommended
Salt for cooking Pasta
1/4 Onion *finely chopped
1 small clove Garlic *finely chopped
1/8 teaspoon Chilli Flakes
1/2 tablespoon Oil OR Butter
1/2 can (about 180ml) Diced Tomatoes OR Crushed Tomatoes
100g shelled Prawns *thawed if frozen
1/8 teaspoon Salt *plus extra if required
2 to 3 tablespoons Cream
Finely chopped Parsley

Method
  1. Prepare all ingredients. If you use Frozen Prawns, thaw them thoroughly.
  2. Cook long Pasta of your choice in plenty of boiling salted water according to the instruction of the package.
  3. Heat Oil OR Butter in a frying pan over medium heat, cook Onion, Garlic and Chilli until Onion is soft. Add Tomato, and cook until slightly thickened. Season with Salt.
  4. Add Prawns. By the time Prawns are cooked, the Sauce should be thicker. Add Cream, and bring back to the boil. Check the flavour, and add extra Salt if required.
  5. Drain the cooked Pasta, add to the pan, and mix to combine. Sprinkle with some chopped Parsley and enjoy. *Note: The photo above is cooked with Linguine, and the photo below is cooked with Fettuccine.
