
Steam-frying in a frying pan is the easiest and best method to cook Broccoli. Then, I tried to cook Green Beans in the same way. I have been loving this Green Been dish so much and lately, and I cook it very often. Today I seasoned with Salt & Black Pepper, but salty Anchovy is a great addition.

Ingredients
About 375g Green Beans
1 tablespoon Oil *I used Olive Oil
1 clove Garlic *finely chopped
1 pinch Salt
3 to 4 tablespoons Water
*Note: Alter the amount of Water depending on the hardness of the Green Beans. If they are thicker and harder, you would need more Water to cook them longer.
Salt & Black Pepper
*Note: You can use other seasoning. Salty Anchovy Fillets, finely chopped, are quite nice.
Method
- Wash Green Beans, trim off ends as required, and cut into the size that is easy to eat.
- Drizzle Oil over a frying pan, place Green Beans, sprinkle with Garlic, Water and Salt. Cover with a lid and cook over medium high heat for a few minutes.


- When the Water is evaporated, remove the lid, stir and season with Salt & Black Pepper (OR seasoning of your choice).
