This is a great topping for Ice Cream or Creamy Dessert. You can actually mix it with Ice Cream. Matcha’s bitterness goes so well with Vanilla and White Chocolate flavours. You can mix in some chopped nuts. You can use it for cupcakes as topping. I wonder what else you would use this delicious crunchy crumble.
50g Butter *softened
*Note: Add 1-2 pinches Salt if Unsalted Butter is used
1/2 cup Self-Raising Flour
1 to 2 teaspoons Matcha Powder
2 tablespoons Caster Sugar
1 tablespoon Brown Sugar *OR Caster Sugar
- Preheat oven to 160℃. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Place softened Butter in a bowl, add Sugar, sift in Matcha Powder, and mix well. Add Flour and mix to form crumble.
- Scatter the crumble on the prepared tray and bake for 10 minutes. Cool completely and crumble as required.
