If you are looking for a different way to cook Brussels Sprouts, try this Pan-fried Brussels Sprouts. I have been cooking many vegetable in this pan-steam-fry method these days. You only need a frying pan and a lid. This recipe is for plain Salt & Pepper flavour, but you can add Spices, Soy Sauce (I can’t help myself) OR whatever additional ingredients of your choice.

Ingredients
12 Brussels Sprouts *trimmed and cut in half
20g Butter
4 tablespoons Water
1 clove Garlic *finely chopped
2 pinches Salt
Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Method
- Melt Butter in a frying pan over medium heat, pack with Brussels Sprouts with cut side down, sprinkle with chopped Garlic, Salt and Water, cover with a lid and steam-cook for a few minutes.
- When the Water in the pan is evaporated, remove the lid and keep cooking until Brussels Sprouts are nicely browned.
- Sprinkle with some freshly ground Black Pepper, and extra Salt if required, and serve.
