If you are looking for a different way to cook Brussels Sprouts, try this Pan-fried Brussels Sprouts. I have been cooking many vegetable in this pan-steam-fry method these days. You only need a frying pan and a lid. This recipe is for plain Salt & Pepper flavour, but you can add Spices, Soy Sauce (I can’t help myself) OR whatever additional ingredients of your choice.

Ingredients

12 Brussels Sprouts *trimmed and cut in half
20g Butter
4 tablespoons Water
1 clove Garlic *finely chopped
2 pinches Salt
Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Method
  1. Melt Butter in a frying pan over medium heat, pack with Brussels Sprouts with cut side down, sprinkle with chopped Garlic, Salt and Water, cover with a lid and steam-cook for a few minutes.
  2. When the Water in the pan is evaporated, remove the lid and keep cooking until Brussels Sprouts are nicely browned.
  3. Sprinkle with some freshly ground Black Pepper, and extra Salt if required, and serve.
