Do your children hate Brussels Sprouts? Cook them in the flavour they love. Butter & Soy Sauce is a delicious combination everyone loves. Do you have Frozen Corn in the freezer? Then add some Corn as well, as Corn is great with Butter & Soy Sauce. You can add some Garlic and Chilli as well if you like them.

Ingredients

20g Butter
12 Brussels Sprouts *trimmed and cut in half
1/4 cup Frozen Corn Kernels
4 tablespoons Water
1 pinch Salt
2 to 3 teaspoons Soy Sauce

Additional Ingredients
1 clove Garlic *finely chopped
Chilli Flakes OR Ground Chilli

Method
  1. Melt Butter in a frying pan over medium heat, pack with Brussels Sprouts with cut side down, scatter Corn Kernels (and chopped Garlic and Chilli if you add them), add Water and Salt, cover with a lid, and cook for a few minutes.
  2. When the Water in the pan is evaporated, remove the lid and keep cooking until Brussels Sprouts are nicely browned, then add Soy Sauce and quickly stir to combine.
