I have shared how to make ‘Strawberry Daifuku Mochi’ using Rice Paper on this website. Using the same ingredients, you can make this very ordinary style Rice Paper Rolls. Today I added firmly whipped Cream as well, but it is optional. You should eat it before the soft and rubbery texture of Rice Paper is lost.

1 Serving (2 Pieces)

Ingredients

2 sheets Rice Paper
2 Strawberries
4-6 tablespoons Sweet Azuki Paste *Tsubu-an
Firmly whipped Cream *slightly sweetened

Method
  1. Wash Strawberries and thinly slice them.
  2. Dip a sheet of Rice Paper into hot water (NOT boiling hot) and place it on a flat surface OR plate. Place 2-3 tablespoons Sweet Azuki Paste and some firmly whipped Cream on the Rice Paper as shown below.
  3. Arrange sliced Strawberry separately, and wrap it up.


  4. Repeat with remaining Rice Paper. Enjoy before the soft and rubbery texture of Rice Paper is lost.
