Ingredients
1 serving Spaghetti
Salt for cooking Spaghetti
125g Beef Mince
1/4 Onion *finely chopped
*Note: You can use 1 serving (about 140g) ‘Very Versatile Cooked Mince & Onion’
1 small clove Garlic *finely chopped
1/2 tablespoon Olive Oil
1/2 can (200g) Diced Tomatoes OR Crushed Tomatoes
1/2 to 1 teaspoon Dried Italian Herb Mix
1/8 teaspoon Sugar
Salt & Black Pepper *I added 1/3 teaspoon Salt
Parmesan Cheese *optional
Method
- Cook Spaghetti in boiling salted water according to the instruction on the package.
- Heat Olive Oil in a small frying pan OR saucepan over medium heat, cook Onion and Garlic for a few minutes. Add Beef Mince and cook until Beef changes colour.
- Add Tomatoes, Herbs and Sugar, and bring to the simmer. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened. Season with Salt and Black Pepper.
- Drained the cooked Spaghetti, add to the sauce, and mix to combine. Transfer to a serving plate, add some grated Parmesan and some extra ground Black Pepper if you like, and enjoy.
