This is a great topping for freshly cooked rice and also a good side dish to enjoy with Sake or Beer. Thinly sliced Beef is traditionally used, but you can cut the Beef into small cubes and present them with toothpicks like ‘Pinchos’.
Makes
4 Servings

400 to 500g Beef Steaks
2 small pieces Ginger *sliced into thin strips
2 to 4 tablespoons Sugar *amount is up to your preference
4 tablespoons Soy Sauce
4 tablespoons Sake (Rice Wine)
2 tablespoons Mirin
Method
- Thinly slice Beef. *Note: You can cut into small cubes.
