The Sesame Dressing that I used for this salad is very versatile. It goes so well with many things. I wondered if the celery hater in my family would eat Celery if with this dressing. I don’t know if he enjoyed the salad, but he ate Celery, though he left a few slices on his plate. Red Capsicum is optional, but it adds sweetness to the salad.
Makes
4 Servings
Ingredients
2 to 3 Celery Stalks *about 150g
1/2 Red Capsicum
Toasted Sesame Seeds
Dressing
1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
1/2 tablespoon Sugar
Chilli Flakes *optional
Method
- Thinly slice Celery Stalks diagonally. Cut Red Capsicum into thin strips. Place them in a mixing bowl.
- Add the dressing ingredients and mix well. Sprinkle with some Toasted Sesame Seeds and serve.

Thanks for sharing this, I’ve been trying to find more easy Japanese style pickles to make and I always have celery on hand.
