Mix everything together and drop tablespoonfuls of the soft mixture into boiling stock and cook them, then season the stock as you like. You can enjoy these nutritious Chicken Balls with delicious soup. You may wish to add some cooked noodles or rice to make this dish a filling meal.

400 to 500g Chicken Mince
1 small piece Ginger *grated
2 to 3 Spring Onions
1/2 Carrot
2 Shiitake
1 Egg
2 tablespoons Potato Starch
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon Salt *alter to suit your preference
White Pepper
4 cups Dashi Stock OR Chicken Stock *add extra if you are going to add noodles

  1. Chop up all vegetables finely, and combine with other ingredients. Mix very well.
  2. Boil Dashi Stock OR Chicken Stock. Using a large spoon, drop the chicken mixture into the boiling stock and cook until cooked through. Season the soup as you like. *e.g. Salt & Pepper, Soy Sauce, Oyster Sauce, Fish Sauce, etc.
