Nattō, fermented Soy Beans, is a very nutritious and healthy food. However, many people find its slimy texture and the smell are too challenging. Mix Nattō with refreshing vegetables. ‘Crunchy Nattō Rice Bowl’ is a good dish to try. This is another good one. Mix Nattō with Pork Mince. Chicken Mince is also good.

Ingredients

100g Pork Mince *OR Chicken Mince
1 teaspoon Oil *I used Sesame Oil
1/2 teaspoon grated Ginger *OR Garlic
2 teaspoons Soy Sauce
1/2 teaspoon Sugar
1 container Nattō *sauce and mustard are included
1 serving warm Cooked Rice
1/2 Spring Onion *finely chopped

Method
  1. Heat Oil in a small frying pan over medium heat, cook Pork Mince (OR Chicken Mince) and Ginger (OR Garlic), and season with Soy Sauce and Sugar.
  2. Mix Nattō with the sauce and mustard that are most likely included in the container. Combine the cooked Pork Mince, Spring Onion and the seasoned Nattō.
  3. Half fill a bowl with warm Cooked Rice and cover it with the mixture, and enjoy.
