Definitely this is one of my TOP 3 Salad Dressings. You might have seen bottles of this salad dressing at Asian grocery stores. It is very popular in Japan. I use it often and my family loves it. It’s very easy to make at home.


4 Servings


2 tablespoons Toasted Sesame Seeds *ground
3 to 4 tablespoons Japanese Mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Sugar
2 teaspoons Rice Vinegar
2 teaspoons Soy Sauce

  1. Lightly toast Sesame Seeds and grind them. I use a Suribachi (Japanese mortar), but you can grind Sesame Seeds using a plastic bag. *See ‘How To Grind Sesame Seeds Using A Plastic Bag’
  2. Combine all ingredients and mix well.
  3. *Note: You can add a small amount of grated Ginger OR grated Garlic if desired.
