When you have left-over egg yolk, DO NOT waste them. Let them soak in this simple marinade. The Egg Yolk would get harden like paste and so nice with hot rice or pasta.

Marinade Ingredients

1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon Mirin *optional

  1. Let the Egg Yolk(s) soaked in the marinade of Soy Sauce and Mirin for a couple of days in the fridge.
  2. Place the marinated Egg Yolk on the freshly cooked hot rice. Sprinkle some Nori, chopped Spring Onion and Roasted Sesame Seeds. Drizzle some the soy sauce marinade over and enjoy.
  3. Replace the rice with freshly cooked pasta and enjoy. You would never ever waste the left over Egg Yolks any more.
