
I was given a very ripe Papaya. I am actually not a big fan of Papaya, which flavour is very bland. I tasted the Papaya that I was given, and it was VERY soft and VERY sweet. I knew I wouldn’t enjoy eating it, but I didn’t want to waste it. Then I decided to make Lassi. The sourness of Yoghurt and Lemon Juice made the bland Papaya enjoyable. I cut the remaining Papaya flesh into cubes and froze them. Now I can enjoy this drink any time I want.

Ingredients
1/4 cup Milk
1/4 cup Unsweetened Yoghurt
100g Ripe Papaya Flesh *cut into cubes
2 to 3 Ice Cubes
1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
Sugar OR sweetener of your choice as required *I added 1 teaspoon Sugar
Method
- Make sure your blender OR hand blender is strong enough to crush Ice Cubes.
- Place all ingredients in a suitable (strong enough) glass or blender jug, and blend until Ice Cubes are finely crushed. Taste it, and add extra Lemon Juice OR Sugar if required.
