When you want to make a meal using Cooked Udon, but you are too tired OR too busy to cook, try this dish. Super quick and easy to make. It’s not just carbs, as Egg Yolk and Spring Onion are in it. At least, it will satisfy your hunger as it is filling and absolutely YUMMY!


1 Serving


1 Cooked Udon Noodles
1 Egg Yolk
1/2 Spring Onion *finely chopped
Crispy Chilli Oil, Shichimi (Japanese Chilli Spice Mix), Ground Chilli, etc.

1 small clove Garlic *grated
1/2 tablespoon Oyster Sauce
1/2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
1/2 tablespoon Sesame Oil
1 pinch Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Rice Vinegar *optional but highly recommended

  1. Heat Cooked Udon Noodles in boiling water, then drain.
  2. Combine all the Sauce ingredients in a bowl, add drained Udon, and mix to combine.
  3. Place Egg Yolk on top, sprinkle with finely chopped Spring Onion, add some Crispy Chilli Oil (OR Chilli of your choice), and enjoy.
