Have you tried ‘Butter & Soy Grilled Corn’? It is so yummy. When corn is not in season, frozen corn cobs or kernels can be cooked in the same way, and they are also yummy. Mix the butter & soy sauce flavoured corn kernels with freshly cooked rice to make this dish. It is yummy, too.

Ingredients

1 Corn Cob / 1 cup Frozen Corn Kernels
10 g Butter
1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
1/2 teaspoon Sugar *optional
Freshly Cooked Rice 2 servings *300g
Parsley *finely chopped
Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Method
  1. If you use fresh corn, cut the kernels from the cob. If you use Frozen Corn Kernels, you can use as frozen.

  2. Heat Butter in a flaying pan over medium heat, add Corn Kernels and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Add Soy Sauce and combine well. If the corn kernels are not sweet enough, you may wish to add a little Sugar, but it is optional.

  3. Mix with freshly cooked rice. Sprinkle with finely chopped Parsley and Black Pepper. Drizzle extra Soy Sauce if you like, and enjoy.
