Gently bashed and broken Cucumber gets seasoned better. It is a very popular technic in Japan. This is a super easy and quick salad. Just mix Cucumber with your favourite Kimchi. The key ingredient is Sesame Oil. The saltiness, sourness and spiciness are deliciously combined by the Sesame Oil.

1 Continental Cucumber *about 300g
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 cup Kimchi
1 to 2 teaspoons Sesame Oil
Toasted Sesame Seeds

  1. Wash Cucumber and place it on the cutting board. Use a rolling pin to bash gently until it cracks. Break or cut it into bite-size pieces.
  2. Place Cucumber in a mixing bowl, add Salt and mix well. Add Kimchi and Sesame Oil, and mix well. Sprinkle with some Toasted Sesame Seeds. Serve immediately.
