‘Gomamiso-ae’ is a dish of vegetables seasoned with sweet miso sauce with aromatic toasted sesame seeds. The soy sauce version ‘Goma-ae’ and ‘Gomamiso-ae’ both are very popular and they can be made with so many different vegetables, even with the juicy fresh vegetables such as Tomato and Radish. Some people don’t enjoy fresh radish because of the peppery taste, but try this ‘Gomamiso-ae’ Radishes. The peppery taste and the juiciness of the radish match the sweet sesame miso sauce.

Ingredients

Radishes 1 bunch (10 to 12) *cut into quarters
*Note: Please use leaves for something else!
Toasted Sesame Seeds 1 tablespoon *ground
White Miso 1 tablespoon
Sugar 2 teaspoons
Soy Sauce 1 teaspoon

Method
  1. In a bowl, mix Ground Toasted Sesame Seeds, Miso, Sugar and Soy Sauce until well combined.
  2. Add the radishes and combine well. Serve immediately.
