
Dips are very popular in Australia. You can purchase a variety of dips these days, but the home-made dips are the best. Do you know that dips are quite easy to make? My ‘Tuna & Cream Cheese Dip’ is very popular with my family and friends, and this ‘Smoked Salmon Dip’ is another popular dip.
Ingredients
Smoked Salmon 100g *off-cuts are just perfect
Sour Cream 100g *Greek style yoghurt is also good
Garlic 1 clove *grated
Red Onion 1/8 *finely chopped
Lemon Juice 1 to 2 teaspoons
Salt
Black Pepper
Method
- Finely chop up the Smoked Salmon pieces.
- Place the Salmon, Sour Cream, Garlic, Red Onion and Lemon Juice in a bowl. Using a hand blender, combine the ingredients together. Check the flavour, add Salt (if only required) and cracked Black Pepper, then blend to combine.
- *Note: You may wish to add some herbs such as Dill or Parsley.
