This is my Korean inspired salad dressing. Fresh salad vegetables such as Lettuce and Cucumber, and cooked vegetables such as Spinach and Carrot, are all suitable with this dressing sauce. Taste the sauce and alter the flavour to suit your taste. You may wish to add extra Gochujang, but 1 teaspoon is maximum for me.


2 to 4 Servings


200g Leafy Salad Vegetables

1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
1 clove Garlic *grated
1 teaspoon Gochujang (Korean Spicy Miso)
1 tablespoon Toasted Sesame Seeds
1 tablespoon Ponzu *OR 1/2 tablespoon Soy Sauce & 1/2 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
1/2 teaspoon Sugar
1/4 teaspoon Asian Chicken Bouillon Powder *optional

  1. Combine all the Dressing ingredients in a mixing bowl. Add fresh (OR cooked) vegetables and mix well. *Today I used a mix of 4 leafy salad vegetables.
