By adding extra ingredients to my ‘Basic Plain Muffins’, you can create a variety of Muffins. Today I added Matcha Powder and White Chocolate. You can use Dark Chocolate instead. You might wish to add Nuts as well. Walnuts would be nice. Macadamia Nuts would be lovely. Create your own Matcha Muffins.
2 cups Self-Raising Flour
1/2 cup Caster Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 to 2 tablespoons Matcha Powder *Today I added 2 tablespoons.
1 cup Milk
1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
2 Eggs *lightly whisked
100g White Chocolate *coarsely chopped
- Preheat oven to 180℃. Line a 12-hole muffin pan with cases.
- Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix to combine. Spoon the mixture into each case. Bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through. Cool on a wire rack.
