A few months ago, my husband bought two large bags of Frozen Mixed Vegetables that he intended to eat for his lunch but he quickly lost interest. I needed to use them up to clean the freezer. I have been using the Frozen Mix Vegetables day after day, and this quick and easy rice bowl was really yummy. This is how I cooked it.

Ingredients

100 to 125g Pork Mince *OR other Meat
1/2 cup Frozen Mixed Vegetables
1 teaspoon Oil
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon grated Garlic OR Ginger
Chilli Flakes OR Chilli Sauce as required
1 teaspoon Sugar
2 to 3 teaspoons Soy Sauce
1 serving warm Cooked Rice
Crispy Chilli Oil *optional

Method
  1. Heat Oil in a small drying pan over medium heat, and cook Pork Mince and Mix Vegetables.
  2. When cooked, add Garlic, Chilli, Sugar and Soy Sauce, and stir until the sauce is almost gone.
  3. Half fill a bowl with warm Cooked Rice, cover it with the mixture, and enjoy. *Note: I added some Crispy Chilli Oil on top.
