The other day, I ate a simple Avocado Salad with my ‘Garlic Sesame Dressing’, and the Avocado was so yummy with the dressing. Today I made it into a rice bowl. I reduced the amount of Vinegar for this rice bowl. It was a very simply dish, but very filling and nutritious. You can add some salad vegetable such as Lettuce.
Makes
1 Serving
Ingredients
1 Avocado
*Note: You can add some Lettuce
1 Egg *softly cooked, e.g. Onsen Tamago
1 serving warm Cooked Rice
Crispy Chilli Oil *optional
Garlic Sesame Sauce
1 small clove Garlic *grated
1/2 tablespoon Sugar
1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
1 teaspoon Toasted Sesame Seeds
1 teaspoon Rice Vinegar
1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
Chilli Flakes as required
Method
- Prepare Egg. Today I microwave it with some water until Egg White turned white. Softly Boiled Egg OR Poached Egg would be nice.
- Combine all the Sauce ingredients in a bowl. Cut Avocado into bite-size pieces, add to the sauce, and mix to combine.
- Half fill a bowl with warm Cooked Rice and cover it with Avocado mixture, add the softly cooked Egg on top. Add some Crispy Chilli Oil if you have it.
