Chicken ‘Soboro’ (Crumbled Meat) is easy to cook and it doesn’t take much time at all. Cover freshly cooked rice with this ‘Chicken Soboro’ and other food in different colours, make it beautiful and nutritious. This is also perfect for ‘Bento Lunch’. Half fill the lunch container with cooked rice, then cover and decorate with whatever you like. It’s fun to make.

Ingredients
500g Chicken Mince
1 small piece Ginger *grated
1 pinch Salt
1 tablespoon Sugar
2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon Mirin
1 tablespoon Oil
Method
- Heat Oil in a frypan over medium heat and cook Chicken Mince with grated Ginger. Add all seasoning ingredients and cook until sauce is gone.
- Half fill a bowl or a lunch container with freshly cooked rice, and cover & decorate with ‘Chicken Soboro’ and other food in different colours.

Yellow: Scrambled Egg, Boiled Egg, Corn, Stir-fried Yellow Capsicum
Green: Spinach Goma-ae, Beans Goma-ae, Stir-fried Green Vegetables, Boiled Broccoli, Peas
Red & Orange: Carrot Goma-ae, Stir-fried Carrot or Red Capsicum, Stir-fried Tomato
