This is my family’s Tartar Sauce that I have been making for decades. Egg is essential for my Tartar Sauce. It is perfect with Fried Seafood, Teriyaki Chicken and Boiled (OR Steamed) Potato & Vegetables. It’s good as a dip.
1 Boiled Egg
2 tablespoons finely chopped Onion
2 tablespoons finely chopped Pickled Gherkin OR Cucumber
1 tablespoon finely chopped Parsley
4 tablespoons Japanese Mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Whole Grain Mustard
- Use a firmly boiled Egg. Chop up into 4-5mm pieces. Add all other ingredients and mix well. Add freshly ground Black Pepper to taste.
