Grilled cobs corn with Butter & Soy Sauce are very popular in Japan. Actually, Butter & Soy Sauce flavour is very popular. Why? Because it is yummy! This is a very simple dish of sautéed Frozen Peas & Corn, seasoned with just Soy Sauce. You would never know how yummy it is until you try it. Today I even added my ‘Onsen Tamago’ that can be cooked in the microwave in less than 60 seconds.

1 cup Frozen Peas
1 cup Frozen Corn Kernels
20g Butter
1 to 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
2 Eggs *optional
Freshly Ground Pepper OR Chilli

  1. Heat Butter in a frying pan over medium heat, add Frozen Peas and Corn Kernels, and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, occasionally tossing. When Peas and Corn are lightly browned, add Soy Sauce and combine well.

  3. Sprinkle with some Pepper OR Chilli, and enjoy with freshly cooked rice.
