I first discovered ‘Lao Gan Ma’ brand Crispy Chilli Oil on the website of Cookpad. A young woman, whose name is Lisa, introduced me the yummy Chilli in Oil. Since the discovery, I have been using it for many dishes. It takes this simple salad of Celery and Tuna to next level.

Ingredients

3 to 4 stalks Celery *about 200g
1 can (95g) Tuna *I used Tuna in Springwater, drained
1 small clove Garlic *grated
1 teaspoon Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
1/2 tablespoon Toasted Sesame Seeds
1 teaspoon Crispy Chilli Oil *plus extra for topping
Chilli Flakes for extra heat *optional
1/8 teaspoon Salt *alter the amount to suit your taste

Method
  1. Thinly slice Celery Stalks and place in a mixing bowl. Add all other ingredients and mix well.
  2. Add some extra Crispy Chilli Oil on top and serve immediately.
