This is one of the easiest and very popular Japanese recipes. You can add Chilli Flakes, Sesame Seeds, Sesame Oil OR Garlic for more flavour. ‘Katsuobushi (Bonito Flakes)’ can be replaced by canned Tuna. My children like the Tuna version better.
2 Green Capsicums
1 tablespoon Oil
1 to 2 packets Katsuobushi (Bonito Flakes) OR Canned Tuna (95g)
1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
- Cut Capsicum into thin strips.
- Heat Oil in a frying pan and cook Capsicum until tender.
- Add Katsuobushi (OR Tuna) and Soy Sauce and mix well. *Note: You can add Chilli Flakes, Sesame Seeds OR Garlic for more flavour.
