We don’t need to feel guilty to make shortcuts. Shortcuts can be clever tricks. I used to make ‘Matcha Ice Cream’ from scratch. Matcha Ice Cream is one of the food that I have to make if I want to eat. It’s not available where I live. If you are in the same situation, try this ‘Super Easy Matcha Ice Cream’ and love it!

Ingredients
About 1 cupful Good Quality Vanilla Ice Cream *softened
1 to 2 teaspoons Matcha Powder
1 teaspoon Caster Sugar
2 to 3 tablespoons Thickened Cream
Method
- Leave the ice cream at room temperature until softens.
- In a small bowl, combine Matcha Powder and Caster Sugar, then add Cream. Use a whisk to mix very well. You don’t need to whip it up, but it will naturally thicken.
- When the ice cream is just soft enough, add the matcha mixture, and mix well OR marble it.
- Place in the freezer to firm up before you enjoy it. *Note: For the above photo, I placed some ‘Matcha Crumble’ on top.
