We don’t need to feel guilty to make shortcuts. Shortcuts can be clever tricks. I used to make ‘Matcha Ice Cream’ from scratch. Matcha Ice Cream is one of the food that I have to make if I want to eat. It’s not available where I live. If you are in the same situation, try this ‘Super Easy Matcha Ice Cream’ and love it!

About 1 cupful Good Quality Vanilla Ice Cream *softened
1 to 2 teaspoons Matcha Powder
1 teaspoon Caster Sugar
2 to 3 tablespoons Thickened Cream

  1. Leave the ice cream at room temperature until softens.
  2. In a small bowl, combine Matcha Powder and Caster Sugar, then add Cream. Use a whisk to mix very well. You don’t need to whip it up, but it will naturally thicken.
  3. When the ice cream is just soft enough, add the matcha mixture, and mix well OR marble it.
  4. Place in the freezer to firm up before you enjoy it. *Note: For the above photo, I placed some ‘Matcha Crumble’ on top.
