I have a Bialetti Moka Express Pot that makes about 1/2 cup Espresso. It is my morning routine that I make Caffè Latte using the Moka Pot. I sometimes make this Caffè Latte Jelly in the morning. I place a little Water and Gelatine Powder in the glass first, then make Caffè Latte as always. It would be set by lunch time and I can enjoy this delicious treat.
Makes
1 Serving *about 220ml
Ingredients
1 tablespoon Water
1 teaspoon Gelatine Powder
125ml Espresso *must be hot
1 to 2 tablespoons Sugar
About 80ml cold Milk
Condensed Milk OR Coffee Syrup *optional
Method
- Sprinkle Gelatine Powder over 1 tablespoon Water in a glass. *Note: My glass is 1 cup (250ml) capacity.
- Make Espresso and add it to the glass, and mix well until Gelatine dissolves completely. *Note: The Espresso must be hot.
- Add Sugar and mix well, then add cold Milk. Allow to set in the fridge.
- It is a good idea to add some Condensed Milk OR Coffee Syrup to the set jelly.
