Some Apples were turning wrinkly and I stewed them. I stored the stewed Apple in the fridge. On a hot day, I ate the chilled stewed Apple with leftover whipped Cream and Vanilla Ice Cream. As I always have a jar of Rum-steeped Sultanas, I poured some over the Ice Cream. And it was bloody DELICIOUS!!! You should try it.

Makes

1 Serving

Ingredients

Stewed Apple *I used Pan-stewed Pink Lady Apples with skin
Whipped Cream
Vanilla Ice Cream
Rum-steeped Sultanas OR Raisins

Method
  1. Cut Apple into 8 wedges and cut each wedge in half. Stew them with a little bit of Water in a frying pan with a fitting lid OR a saucepan. I recommend to chill the stewed Apple in the fridge, but you may prefer warm stewed Apple.
  2. Add some Whipped Cream and Vanilla Ice Cream on top, and pour the Rum-steeped Sultanas (OR Raisins) over the Whipped Cream and Ice Cream.
  3. *Note: You can use Rum Raisin Ice Cream instead.
