The ‘Namul’, Korean vegetable dish, can be a great side dish which goes well with so may dishes. Many vegetables are in season now and I am making all kinds of ‘Namul ‘dishes. I particularly like this easy Broccoli ‘Namul’. Find other ‘Namul’ recipes here.

Ingredients

Broccoli 1 large head *cut into small florets, thick stem sliced
Salt 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon
Garlic 1 clove *grated
Sesame Oil 1 tablespoon
Roasted Sesame Seeds 1/2 tablespoon

Method
  1. Place Salt, Garlic, Sesame Oil and Toasted Sesame Seeds in a large bowl and mix well.
  2. Cook Broccoli in a large saucepan of salted boiling water for 1 minute or until just blanched. Drain, dip in cold water to stop cooking further, and drain again.
  3. Add well drained Broccoli to the sauce and combine well.
